About mHUB Chicago
mHUB is Chicago's innovation center for physical product development and manufacturing. A co-working space comprised of a diverse community of engineers, designers, hackers and makers, it presents the dynamic work environment required to rapidly collaborate, prototype and construct Chicago’s next generation of hardware businesses. Membership grants access to a personal workstation and prototyping shop, which includes fabrication tools such as 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC milling, electronics lab, and machine shop. To enable and inspire our members, we host a variety of community seminars, weekend workshops, and coordinate office hours with mentors. A rotating curriculum of product development courses will be offered, with topics including new business strategy, patents and protection, arduino to production, design basics and much more. Members benefit from access to a curated network of local suppliers and manufacturers committed to the success of Chicago’s hardware heritage. These industry experts provide consulting services, instructional workshops and potential partnerships for scaling to broader markets. They are instrumental in providing the support and insights required to transition from prototype to production.
